William Shakespeare and A Midsummer Night's Dream

Hi! Our class is studying about William Shakespeare, playwrite. We love learning about his plays and sonnets. We studied about Romeo and Juliet. We learned that it was a tragedy because lots of people died and it was sad. Now we are learning about his comedy, A Midsummer Night's Dream. We love the fairies and funny characters in the play. We've also been learning lines and performing parts of the play in class. It is so much fun to perform! Some of our favorite characters are: Nick Bottom(he got turned into a donkey), Francis Flute (he had to play the roll of a woman), Oberon and Titania (the king and queen of the fairies), and Puck (Oberon's bad little helper)! We also like Lysander and Hermia, and Demetrius and Helena. It's a fun play. We think William Shakespeare rocks!!!!
